Abstract
The hybrid plasma-catalyst system represents an effectivemethod for the pollutant abatement from car exhaust. Aproblem, however, is a limited volume of the generated plasma, anda pressure drop across the catalyst layer. A new approach on thegeneration of microdischarges inside porous ceramic materials isreported. The results show that the stable generation of microdischargescan be observed only in ceramics with specific pore size.
